Good & Bad: 3 Updates on Colorado’s Newest In-N-Out Coming to Loveland
America just seems to have a "foodie fascination" with In-N-Out, and Colorado is no exception. When word gets out that one is on the way, or has opened, Coloradans tend to go "double-double" nuts.
An In-N-Out will be opening in east Loveland, and it's already getting people "up in arms" with excitement and with concern.
There's no stopping them now; a new Colorado In-N-Out Burger location is well into its "from the ground up" construction on the east side of Loveland, near Interstate 25.
While Loveland could sure use a new grocery store on the east side of town, there are still many who are excited about In-N-Out.
Those who are excited include not only Lovelanders but folks from Greeley, Fort Collins, Johnstown, Berthoud, and more cities/towns around Northern Colorado.
Loveland has seen its share of new restaurants coming to town, but when it comes to In-N-Out, it's a whole new scale. Everybody knows the brand; those who love it, REALLY love it; those who haven't are ready to try them out.
It was in March of 2023 that it was confirmed that In-N-Out would be taking over the former Mimi's Cafe location in Centerra Marketplace, just west of I-25.
WHAT IS THE LATEST ON THE OPENING OF LOVELAND COLORADO'S IN-N-OUT?
- GOOD NEWS: In-N-Out is hiring and training.
- GOOD NEWS: It looks like they'll be opening as early as January 2024. Maybe sooner. Maybe we'll see Arnold Schwarzenegger there.
- BAD NEWS: Traffic flow has already changed. They have already permanently eliminated the left-hand turn lane that would get you into that area of Centerra Marketplace.
I've been informed by the City of Loveland that they will be adding an additional turn lane at Hahn's Peak and eastbound Eisenhower during the fall/winter of 2023.
I make that (single turn lane) turn a lot, going to Panera for morning coffee. A dual turn lane getting onto Hahns Peak is going to be a project: I'm guessing that they'll have to close Hahns Peak for a least a few days to widen it.
That will mean using Rocky Mountain Avenue to get to that area of the Marketplace. Not fun.
Also, the city expects temporary detours within the marketplace, especially at the In-N-Out/Chipotle corner.
