Loveland’s Epic New Wild Trail Is Open: Location & Features You’ll Love
There is a new trailhead in the city of Loveland.
We are especially excited to check it out because there is a whole lot to do. This new trailhead offers more than just a scenic walk.
We believe that the new trailhead will offer a lot of opportunities for families and outdoor enthusiasts in Northern Colorado.
Where the New Loveland Trail Is Located
According to KDVR, a brand new trailhead is officially open. The trail is located in West Loveland by Highway 34 and Glade Road. There is also parking available for the new trail.
This new trailhead will offer a lot for Northern Coloradans.
This is great to see. The city of Loveland went through some budget cuts earlier this year, and we were not sure if we were going to see new parks open.

A major cut for the city of Loveland was closing down Lake Loveland Swim Beach.
What Northern Coloradans Can Do at New Trailhead
According to the city of Loveland, a half-mile trail has been installed for walking. Not only can Northern Coloradans go for a nice walk, the trail will also give residents access to fishing and wildlife viewing. This new trail was funded via the Larimer County Open Space tax.
There will be scenic views on the trail. According to the city, wild turkeys, elk, deer, and more will be easily visible.
The city says that if you have a fishing license, you can fish on the river as well.
I have a dog, and the first thing I wanted to know was whether or not the new trailhead was going to be dog-friendly. We have good news! The new trailhead in Loveland is dog-friendly. The dogs must be leashed, though.
