Meet Callie: A Sweet Pit Bull Mix Up For Adoption in Northern Colorado

We are excited to introduce you to this week's Townsquare NoCo Pet of the Week, proudly presented by Camp Bow Wow. Camp Bow Wow has three locations in Northern Colorado: Loveland, Longmont, and Fort Collins.

Callie Is Ready For Adoption Right Now in Northern Colorado

Callie is a four-year-old female American Pit Bull and Labrador Retriever mix looking for her forever home in Northern Colorado. She has been in the loving care of NOCO Humane since December 2024. She is ready for her next adventure.

Callie is an extremely sweet girl who is always down for an adventure. She does extremely well with positive reinforcement and is working on listening skills and using her nose to snuff out treats. She is extremely cuddly and loves playing with rope.

She has been working with NOCO Humane's Behavior Team Volunteers and has made a ton of progress. On a leash, she pulls at first but settles in quickly. She knows the sit command.

What to Consider Before Adopting Callie at NOCO Humane

Callie is extremely loving and if she knows you she can be jumpy. This can easily be remedied with positive reinforcement training. She is looking for a home as the only pet. Callie tends to chase cats and can be dog-selective.

She would love lots of space to be able to run around and get her energy out.
