Countdown to a Colorado Christmas: Just (About) 100 Days Away
Halloween is practically here, and before you know it, we'll be decking the halls this winter. Normally, I'm not trying to rush through the holidays, but personally I'm excited to get into the Yuletide Spirit.
I mean...if Costco can do it, so can I!

Colorado Christmas Towns That Feel Like a Hallmark Movie
A friend of mine actually got me into the holiday season a bit early this year when she sent me a video on Facebook. It was a real showing the most gorgeous little Christmas town.
Turns out, it's right here in Colorado!

Explore Historic Georgetown, Colorado This Holiday Season
Located just 45 minutes from Denver is Georgetown.
This town of just over a thousand people is full of historical and Victorian-era charm! Visitors say that Georgetown reminds them of a "real life Hallmark movie set."
Taking a quick look at it, I can definitely see why, especially during those winter months.
Ride the Georgetown Loop Railroad to Silver Plume
You can take a ride on the Georgetown Loop Railroad for a round-trip excursion to Silver Plume. This seems like something straight out of the Polar Express.
Besides this train ride, there are a bunch of local shops to check out. From Georgetown Valley Candy Company to Mountain Mamas' Needful Things, there's always something sweet to check out here!
Also, if you wanna take a scenic drive of your own, locals recommend checking out the Guanella Pass scenic and historic byway. You'll pass some AMAZING views and gorgeous waterfalls.
I guess I'll have to add this to my holiday bucket list for this year!
