Popular Mexican Fast Food Chain Abruptly Closes All 19 Locations
A Mexican fast food chain that had locations in Greeley, Lone Tree, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Firestone, and many other Colorado cities has abruptly shut down, according to 9News.
If you love Del Taco, we have some unfortunate news to share. You will have to go to another state to get their tacos, burritos, churros, and burgers.
Del Taco Shuts Down All Locations
Del Taco, which had 19 locations across the state, abruptly shut down their services in Colorado on February 27th.
Signs have been posted on doors that read:
We regret to inform you that effective today 2/27/25, all Colorado Del Taco locations are closed until further notice.

The sign then goes on to say:
We thank you for your patronage, the memories we have created together, and wish you well.

This sign did not say that all locations are permanently closed. However, the sentiment surely seems like Del Taco is not going to be returning.

There is no word yet on why Del Taco locations across Colorado have closed.

We are sure that many of those locations have new businesses in place now. For example, Alvarado's Mexican Fast Food took over the old Taco John's location.
