Nobody is immune to being judged or judging others. One thing that many judge others for is politics. Sadly, politics create a divide in this country and have ended friendships, relationships, and left family members no longer talking. This will sadly never change. When it comes to choosing a car, you might want to think it over because in Colorado people will assume you are a part of a certain political party based on what you drive.

Politics is a quick way to divide workplaces, homes, and neighbors. Many are proud of their political views and like to let their stances be known, and others try to hide their stance and views to avoid the drama. Without realizing it, the vehicle you drive might be showing which political party you prefer. According to a recent study by lemonlawexperts.com, 78% of Americans have judged someone's political view by the vehicle they choose to drive. According to the study, Connecticut and California are the states most likely to judge you, with Colorado being the fifth highest state most likely to judge people by their vehicle. So which vehicles represent which parties and which vehicle do many want to stay away from?
Which Cars Represent Which Political Party?

According to the study, 54% of people think if you drive a Ford you are Republican, with 37% assuming Chevy drivers are as well, and 37% assume Tesla drivers are also Republican. Looking at Democrats, 41% think Subaru drivers are a part of that party, with 28% saying Honda drivers are Democrats, and 28% think Toyota drivers are as well. When asked, 1 in 4 people thought they could guess someone's political party based on what they drive. Interestingly enough, 74% of people surveyed said they would avoid buying a Tesla based on what political party the car represents. When are people judging your vehicle the most? 58% said they judge someone's vehicle on a first date, 52% said they do so when choosing a roommate, and 51% said when it comes to a potential friend.
