Grand Junction Shares Photos of Pets on National Pet Day

We don't get to choose our family members but we do get to have a say in one type of beloved member of the family that we have around and that is our pets.

Whether it's a dog, cat, or even turtle that we have as a pet, they all are truly important and beloved members of our families and in many cases, the more we have around, the better.

April 11th was National Pet Day and in the spirit of the holiday, I put up a post on Facebook asking for pictures of your pets and you did not disappoint.

Grand Junction Celebrates National Pet Day

Is there anything better on the internet than pictures and videos of animals? I don't think so. Luckily, after asking for photos of your pets you delivered.

For instance, I was given photos of dogs by many of you including Brad who has a fluffy dog named Chewbacca, Brandi who has two adorable dogs that cuddle up together, and Julie whose dogs seem to love the Colorado wilderness, to name a few.

A number of you also posted photos of your cats including Rocky whose cat is named Odin, Gary who has at least two cats, and Fred who also has multiple cats.

Some of the Grand Junction pets that posed for National Pet Day weren't dogs or cats but rather a horse named Mr. Buck from Bluberrii as well as a photo of Michael's pet turtles.
