Grand Junction Actors Present Patsy Cline Musical to Benefit ‘Strive’ – AFTERGLOW

Several Grand Junction area actors, set decorators, musicians, and production engineers gathered last week to present "Always... Patsy Cline" as a part of a fundraiser benefit for Strive. Take a look at a brief afterglow showcasing the work which went into this one and only local performance of the famous musical.

The cast of "Always... Patsy Cline," consisted of exactly two people: Kelly Asuka Clingman as Patsy Cline, and Debbie Borden as Louise. The band was made up of musical director and pianist Scott Hendrickson, percussionist Karen Caton, and bassist Waylon Jordan. The musical was directed by Kirk McConnell.

The production, performed at Grand Junction Double Tree Hotel ballroom, was part of a dinner/show fundraiser benefiting Strive. According to Strive's official webpage, their mission is to offer various services to help families and support those with developmental disabilities.
