GJ's Newest Dining Option: Goodbye Patio

Do you love dining outdoors? Are you sad to see the option of dining on the patio disappear as colder weather moves in? Check out this Grand Junction alternative.

Goodbye patio season, and hello greenhouse season. Check these out. Grand Junction's Bin 707 Foodbar is now offering greenhouse seating at their venue.

After seeing their post on Facebook, I had to stop by to give these a look. They are exactly what they appear to be, little greenhouses with tables and seating inside. You'll find these on the east side of the Alpine Bank building in downtown Grand Junction.

Bin 707's Facebook page states, "Seating first come first serve Mon-sat 5-10pm!"

I have a confession to make. I'm not really into the whole patio dining thing. One of the primary reasons I go to a restaurant is to be inside. I can certainly see why others enjoy patios, but it just isn't my thing. These greenhouses, though, are a different story. Imagine if you will, you and your guests, in an outdoor yet private greenhouse.

At a glance, these units look as though they could seat six guests. That's perfect. Add to it a sliding door and what appears to be a panel that opens on the ceiling, and you have an awesome environment from which to enjoy dinner.

The next time you are out and about, swing by this Grand Junction restaurant. I plan to visit just to try out one of these greenhouses.
