A number of Denver Broncos' fans are enraged after having their season tickets revoked by the Broncos.

According to the Denver Post, the fans that lost their tickets did not attend a single game in 2016, but rather sold their tickets on the secondary market.

The action taken by the Broncos allows a few of the 75,000 people on the season-ticket waiting list to finally get them.

There are at least two sides to this story and I see both sides.

On the one hand, season ticket holders have a right to sell their tickets. Although the standing Broncos' policy in writing is that the season tickets are a revocable license. The Broncos have a right to take back the tickets.

I also understand there may have been some special and legitimate circumstances which prevented certain fans from attending a game, and maybe the Broncos could be more understanding. It's also likely that many of these season-ticket holders have no legitimate reason for selling the tickets rather than using them.

Considering the high demand for season tickets from true fans who really want to go to the games, it makes sense that the Broncos want the tickets in the hands of people that will come to the games.

It is also understandable that the Broncos don't want their tickets being sold on the secondary market to fans of other teams who are playing the Broncos. The Broncos would rather have those seats filled with their own fans rather than Raiders and Chiefs fans.

So, a word to the wise, if you have Broncos season tickets, you better be sure and attend at least some of the games in the upcoming season or you could find yourself in the same boat.
