Family Event to Benefit Grand Junction Counseling Center
This Sunday (April 28) your entire family can enjoy a wide variety entertainment and activities at 'Family Palooza' and help support Counseling and Education Center all at the same time.The Family Palooza event features a puppet show, juggling lessons, cookie decorating, a magician, face painting, activities from the John McConnell Math and Science Center, the Grand Junction Fire Department robot, storytelling, family portraits and more. There will be a silent auction and food and beverage will also be available.
Counseling & Education Center services are available to all who are in need of counseling regardless of their income level or ability to pay. Funds raised from the Family Palooza event help CEC continue to provide affordable, low and no-cost care. In 2012, CEC provided treatment for approximately 500 individuals for conditions including depression, anxiety, abuse, violence and PSTD.
