Colorado has been a popular concert stop for the Doobie Brothers over the years and 2013 is no exception. Doobies singer/guitarist Tom Johnston says their tour this year is going to be a little different from 2012.Johnston says while he and Doobie Brothers bandmates Patrick Simmons and John McFee enjoy touring with other groups like their recent joint outing with Chicago, they aren't planning to do that this year.  He also says their stops this year will include several types of venues. He says the tour so far is, "just running around playing anything from casinos to sheds to theaters to festivals. The smorgasbord of where you play."

Currently, the Doobie Brothers have just over a dozen concert dates scheduled including a stop at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs on April 10th. Tickets for the show are on sale now through the Center's box office.
