Sample Colorado’s Original ‘Organic’ Meat at Delta Cocktail Party
There are Coloradans who've been serving up 'organic' meat long before the word and interest in organic meant anything. A cocktail party in Delta is serving up 'organic' meat and recipes that are absolutely wild.
I'll admit, the headline and opening paragraph left out one thing. Colorado's original organic meat is wild game. That's right, Colorado organic meats include deer, elk, bear, mountain lion, pheasant and other wild game that, if prepared properly, are both delicious and nutritious.
If you've never eaten wild game, here's a chance to sample around 15 different dishes. If you've tried it and didn't care for it, then it probably wasn't prepared in the best way possible. So, the party will show you how good wild game can taste. For those who enjoy wild game meat, you might learn some new ways to cook and serve it.
The Wild Game Cocktail Party, hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, is March 3rd at 6 p,.m. at the Needle Rock Brewing Company in Delta. The event will showcase recipes, cooking techniques, and the best wine and beer pairings for wild game dishes.
