For those of us who live here, it seems like almost everything in Colorado costs more than neighboring states. But we do have one thing in common with them, some of the lowest state and local taxes in the nation.

According to Wallet Hub, Colorado ranks tenth among the states with the lowest average annual state and local taxes.

While Colorado's taxes are almost double the top state, Wyoming, we're still less than the national average of around $7,000.
