Nothing goes with a good book like a steaming hot cup of delicious coffee. Coming soon, you'll enjoy coffee service while visiting the Mesa County Central Library.

According to Mesa County Library Director Joseph Sanchez, patrons have requested the addition of a nearby coffee vendor for some time. At present, Mesa County Libraries have reached an agreement with Octopus Coffee, Inc., allowing the vendor to serve beverages and food from a structure at Sixth Street and Grand Avenue.

The addition of the structure will not take away from existing parking. The unit will be situated in a location currently consisting of landscaping.

We have heard loud and clear from many of our patrons that they would love to have coffee service at the Central Library. This agreement with Octopus Coffee brings that convenience to our patrons only a few steps outside the library door. - Joseph Sanchez, Library Director

If you're not familiar with Octopus Coffee, Inc., they are the business currently operating a coffee hut on Orchard Mesa at Highway 50 and Linden Avenue, next to the Orchard Mesa True Value Hardware.

The Octopus Coffee on Orchard Mesa will be closing, and the hut will be relocated next to the Mesa County Central Library. While a definite date has not been set, they plan to make the move by early May.

Be sure to visit the Mesa County Library as often as possible. Now when you visit, be sure to grab a delicious cup of coffee or tea, and make your visit even better.
