Changes in Colorado Bus System Means Improvements for Grand Junction Travelers
Changes in Colorado's bus system should mean improvements for Grand Junction travelers.
According to the Durango Herald, Road Runner Stage Lines is joining the Bustang Network, which has many implications for Grand Junction travelers.
For starters, smaller 38-passenger buses will replace the 55 seat buses used by Road Runner. Of course, the smaller carriers will be more fuel efficient - which should help keep fares down. Other features of the new buses include Wi-Fi, plug-ins for laptops, a restroom, bicycle racks, wheelchair accessibility, and undercarriage storage.
Bustang will be offering a Grand Junction to Denver route starting July 1, replacing the current Greyhound Route. The stops on the line to Grand Junction will remain the same including Montrose, Ridgway, and Delta among others.
New fares are expected to be introduced this year, and in some cases, they might actually be lower.
Whether you are heading to Durango, Denver, or Colorado Springs in 2018 - or points in between- the new year means you have a good chance to get there in style and comfort.
