Calling All Western Colorado Artists – Your Talents Sought to Help Shelter the Homeless
“Cool Art for Warmth,” an art showcase to benefit the Homeward Bound Homeless Shelter, has extended the deadline for local artist to showcase their entries at an upcoming exhibit.
Artists ranging from visual, performance arts, poets and musicians are invited to showcase their work to the community on Colorado Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Street on March 9th from Noon to 4 pm.
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Donations of any amount are encouraged with 100% of all proceeds going to Homeward Bound, the valley's only homeless shelter.
The deadline to enter your artwork and talent has been extended to Saturday, March 2nd. An application for the event can be found at coolartforwarmth@gmail.com.
