An Air Force Thunderbird crashed following the graduation ceremony at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

After a final maneuver at the end of the Air Force Academy's graduation, jet #6 went down in a grass area in southern Colorado Springs due to an engine failure. The pilot was able to eject before crashing and was seen walking around unhurt.

No one on the ground was injured.

According to the Gazette, gas was leaking from the jet and the area was cleared by authorities.

The official cause of the engine failure has yet to be determined.
