Pea Green is such a teeny, tiny Colorado town that if you blink, you might just miss it. Here's what and where you can find Pea Green in Western Colorado.

The town of Pea Green is in Montrose County, between Delta and Olathe and is 5,307 feet in elevation. It's a farming and ranching town, with Olathe sweet corn everywhere.

Pea Green was established near a spring called Buttermilk Gulch in the late 1800s. The town allegedly got its name because of the color of its original schoolhouse -- which was pea green.

The Pea Green Store, the community center, and the schoolhouse are all cross the street from each other. It's called Pea Green Corner. Twice a year, there's the 'Pickin at the Pea' event, which is a regional vintage and antique fair. 'Pickin at the Pea' also has a Facebook page.
