John Lennon’s Tooth Used in New Sculpture
We find the oddest uses for things now and then don’t we. Just ask Alberta dentist Dr. Michael Zuk, who purchased a tooth, from the mouth of John Lennon, for over $32,000. The doc’s sister, artist Kirsten Zuk, has used a piece of the molar in a clay sculpture of the famed Beatle.The tooth was bought at a Stockport, England auction in November.
Davy Jones’ Daughters Fight to Care for His Horses
Despite the untimely death of Monkees singer Davy Jones earlier in the year, there was never any doubt that his music and legacy would live on. Now, his daughters are making that happen in another way, close to Davy’s heart. The Davy Jones Equine Memorial Fund has been set up by daughters Talia, Jessica, Sarah & Annabel to provide care for Jones’ stable of horses.

Jon Lord’s Final Recording Project Set For Release
As previously reported, the project former Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord was working on before his untimely death is now set to see the light of day. ‘Concerto For Group and Orchestra’ picks up the theme put into play by Lord and Deep Purple back in 1969. This updated version was recorded at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall by Abbey Road Studio‘s crew and features the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic
