If you're looking for some easy ways to create some spooky sounds or great effects for your Halloween Party start with dry ice, add a few simple household items and you've got wow!

A word of caution, dry ice is dangerously cold so always wear thick gloves or use tongs when handling.  I have created dry ice effects on several occasions and found the secret to keeping the ice from evaporating before you use it is to put it in the freezer in an airtight container.  Take a well insulated cooler to the store, the tighter it seals the better. That will minimize the loss before you get it home.
