    Plant Electrician

    $23.71 - $26.17 Hourly

    What responsibilities does this job entail? According to the City of Grand Junction's website:

    Repair, maintain, and upgrade treatment plant, electrical systems, and instrumentation; troubleshoot, diagnose, and calibrate electrical and electronic equipment and systems; research, test, and order parts required for system maintenance; install new electrical wiring with correct fittings, devices, and code requirements; maintain, test, and repair all heating systems, temperature controls, gas values, airflow switches, and plumbing; weld cracked or broken parts; design, layout, and fabricate new structures; operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, trucks, and other equipment; respond to plant problems and emergencies including after hours and on weekends as required; perform other duties of a similar level or nature.

    What about education and training?

    Associate's degree from an accredited institution with coursework in electrical technology or related field supplemented with two (2) years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment, systems, and components.
