The El Paso County Sheriff's Office needs your help to locate an 11-year-old boy who went missing from Colorado Springs Monday afternoon (January 27).

Have you seen Gannon Stauch? His parents say he left home sometime around 3:15 p.m. on Monday. It was reported earlier he had been spotted at the Kum & Go on Fountain Mesa Road south of Mesa Ridge Park. His parents have since confirmed that sighting to be inaccurate. According to KKTV 11, the person pictured on the store's surveillance cameras was not Gannon.

KKTV 11 reports the El Paso County Sheriff's Office believes he may have run away. He is described as:

  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes
  • 4' 9"
  • 90 pounds
  • Blue Hoodie
  • Blue jeans
  • Tennis shoes

Given Gannon's age and Colorado's recent weather, the Major Crimes Unit has joined the search.
