Zane’s Top Five Journey Songs [POLL]

In 2013 Journey celebrates its 40th year. Their catalog of hits is massive. From hard driving anthems to  soft, tender, passionate ballads, Journey's immense popularity continues today, more than 15 years since their last chart hit. What's interesting is that while 18 of the band's 26 chart hits made the top 40, they never enjoyed a #1 hit. Of course, great bands don't have to have #1 hits.....and we all know that #1 hits don't necessarily mean it's a great band. It's also interesting to note that it took five years from when they started before they managed their first chart hit, "Wheel in the Sky".  

Of course, Steve Perry is gone, but like all great rock bands the show goes on. Arnel Pineda, who sounds a lot like Perry, became Journey's lead singer in 2007, and has spawned a bit of a Journey resurgence. There seems to be great anticipation as Journey comes to Western Colorado on September 1st as part of the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Festival.
