Zane Mathews Celebrates 10 Years At KOOL 107.9

It was 10 years ago today I started here at KOOL 107.9. Wow, how the time has flown by. Ten years of playing the hits and having the time of my life. I have always had great people to work with, which makes the job just that much more fun. No less than three of those people have passed away, while others simply moved on to other adventures. It's the nature of radio. It's been 10 years of meeting listeners, making new friends, being involved in the community, and hopefully making a positive impact on people's lives.In ten years there have been changes in management, ownership, and in personnel, but the one constant has been the commitment of the radio station to it's listeners and the local community. From the Salvation Army Toy Drive, the Walk to End Alzheimer's, The Downtown Tree Lighting, our trick or treat event- Monster Mash, to the Grand Junction 4th of July celebration, I have been extremely blessed to be a part of it. And I have to say a big thanks to all of the KOOL 107.9 listeners who make it a joy to come to work every single day.
