With less than a month to go until the first day of Spring, the 2016 golf season is getting into full swing. Here's your guide to golf this week in the Grand Valley.

Western Colorado weather is beginning to turn toward more Spring-like conditions, which is great news for Grand Junction area golfers.

All driving ranges  and courses are open with the exception of Tiara Rado  Golf Course, which will open on Saturday. Crews have cleaned the goose droppings off the course at Lincoln Park, for which we are thankful, and readied the course for play.

Both the Lincoln Park and Tiara Rado driving ranges are open, although Lincoln Park swingers will need to purchase their balls in the club house until the range machine is repaired.

Tee times for Lincoln Park and Tiara Rado may be made on line, or on the Golf GJ App, available in the Play Store.

A couple of changes golfers will notice at Tiara Rado is the disappearance of the big tree on the left side of the fairway on #17, which had to be removed. It's too bad the tree didn't make it, but considering the many times I have hit that particular tree it's hard to be too sad about it.

The other big change at Tiara Rado is a new fleet of Club Car Precedent Golf Cars which should be arriving this week.

Adobe Creek in Fruita is currently taking on-line reservations, or you can call the club house at 858-0521. The driving range is open for business.

Chipeta Golf Course is also now taking on line reservations, or  you can reach the club house to book a tee time at 245-7177. Range rats can also start hitting the range at Chipeta.

Redlands Mesa is currently taking reservations by phone at 263-9270.
