Woman Lies To The Police About Her Dying Father Who’s Been Dead For Years

Many people have what they think are valid reasons for speeding when pulled over by the police, but Carley Williams took her story a little too far.

Williams claims she was speeding to rush to her father who was on his deathbed. The trooper decided her reason seemed real, took down some basic information and sent her on her way. While following up on the stop, the officer contacted the hospital to find William's father was not there. Further investigation found William's father had been dead since 2008.

The officer then went to William's home, obituary in hand, and busted her for speeding and suspended plates. She now faces a court appearance and thousands of dollars in fines.

Th moral of the story; don't lie to the police. They'll find out where, (and when), the body was buried.
