  • Colorado Mountain Winefest kicks off Thursday and runs through Sunday at Riverbend Park in Palisade. The event is considered a celebration of food and wine, and features the participation of wineries and their winemakers.   • Crabtree Amusements will host a carnival this weekend at Mesa Mall, 2424 Highway 6 & 50 in Grand Junction. The carnival will take place in the Sears parking lot. Also, dealers will have tables of gold, silver, collectible coins, and paper money on display. Other activities include hourly door prizes and silent auction. Admission is $2.
