When you attend Grand Junction's JUCO tournament on Sunday morning (May 29, 2016) you'll be treated to a jaw dropping rendition of the National Anthem. You've probably seen this man performing the Star Spangled Banner at other sporting events, air shows, and festivals. Who is he?

His name is John Hendricks. John is a Western Slope resident, spending most of his time in the Rifle area. You've heard him sing at Pork N' Hops, The Grand Junction Air Show, Country Jam, various rodeos, and several past sporting events.

Coming up Sunday morning at 9:45, John will kick the day off with another amazing performance of the National Anthem. As he says in a recent email, "I will sing the Anthem at about 9:45 a.m. Sunday morning... and I am gonna HAMMER it!"

John recently recorded his album, "For God and Country" at Western Colorado's Aspen Leaf Recording studio. Copies of his album are available for purchase at the typical online stores including Amazon.com and CDBaby.

Don't miss this chance, or for that matter, any chance, to catch John Hendricks performing the National Anthem. His performance alone makes attending the event worthwhile.
