Thursday, August 17, is National Thrift Shop Day. Grand Junction has a few. Which one would you say is the best?

Let's begin by defining what constitutes a "thrift shop." According to Merriam-Webster:

Thrift Shop - a shop that sells secondhand articles and especially clothes and is often run for charitable purposes.

That seems about right. Obviously, Grand Junction has its fair share. Some that come to mind include the Salvation Army, Goodwill, Grand River Humane Save-A-Pet Thrift Store, Yore Emporium, and the Rescue Mission Thrift Store.

The valley is home to many second-hand consignment shops, too, but let's skip those for the purpose of this survey.
