The Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction's annual pancake day is one of the best days of the year, and here's what you can expect this year at Two Rivers Convention Center.

Believe it or not, 2017 marks the 50th annual Kiwanis Pancake Day in Grand Junction, and, baby, they have come a long way since that inaugural pancake breakfast.

Nowadays, the Kiwanis Pancake Day isn't only about pancakes, but that's a good start. Pancakes, ham, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice, milk--all for six bucks. Why WOULDN'T you want to do that. And for that price, your kids under the age of 12 get in at no additional charge, and it sounds like they might just have chocolate chip pancakes for the kiddos.

Serving is Saturday, June 10 from 8 AM until 1 PM so you can do breakfast or lunch, and by all means, bring the entire family. They'll have live music, activity booths, games for the kids, plus, the silent auction is always fantastic.

Of course, the whole aim of Kiwanis Pancake Day is to raise funds for their community projects. By purchasing a ticket and attending this event,  you are supporting the community you live in -- not to mention getting a fantastic breakfast.

You can purchase tickets from any Kiwanian, and they will have them available at the door. An added bonus is that each ticket comes with three money-saving coupons. So, make plans to start your day this Saturday at Two Rivers Convention Center.
