The weekend is almost here, and there is plenty of live local music in Western Colorado to satisfy most anyone's tastes. Weather isn't exactly going to be favorable, so stay indoors, and support your local music scene. Here's the breakdown as to the who, what, and when.

    Snootch (formerly Steam Funk)

    Warehouse 25 - Thurday 7:00

Snootch makes their way to Grand Junction's newest bar, Warehouse 25. You may not realize it, but you've seen Snootch before. They used to go by the name Steam Funk.

It's a new name, but it's the same killer band. Bill "Kleenex-In-The-Nose" Moody still fronts on Sax. Don't miss a chance to enjoy live music before the weekend officially rolls in.

    Desert Flyer Band

    Central Station - Saturday - 8:30

The mighty Desert Flyer Band returns to Central Station for a great night of new Country, Classic Country, Southern Rock, and plenty of Oldies.
