The weekend draws near and that means plenty of high school football for disgruntled  fans who need a football fix but don't want to watch the NFL. Here's a look at what's happening Friday night under the lights.

Grand Junction (1-3) vs Windsor (3-1)
The Tigers have scored just 59 points in their first four games, and it doesn't get any easier on the road against a Wizards team that has allowed just 34 points through four games.

Central (1-3) vs Montrose (2-2)
Central is coming off a tough 21-20 loss to Fruita, while Montrose had the week off after beating Grand Junction 35-7.

Pagosa Springs (2-2) vs Delta (1-3)
Two of the Panthers' three losses have been by a total of just six points, so they hope to get their second win of the season this week at home.
Palisade (3-2)
The Bulldogs have a bye week, coming off a 36-33 victory over Delta. They travel to Glenwood Springs next week.

Fruita Monument (5-0)
The Wildcats have the week off the week off as they get ready for their next conference game at home next week against Denver South.

Conifer (1-3) vs Rifle (3-1)
Cedaredge (2-2) vs Paonia (3-1)
Grand Valley (2-2) vs Olathe (2-2)
