It's another weekend of high school football in western Colorado and here's a look at what's happening this weekend.

THURSDAY
Loveland (7-0) vs Grand Junction (1-6)
6 pm Stocker Stadium
The Tigers host a Loveland team that comes in averaging 44 points a game, while GJ has struggled offensively at just 11 points a contest. Perhaps the home field advantage and over-confidence on the part of the Indians will play in favor of the home team.

FRIDAY
Ponderosa (7-0) vs Central (2-5)
7:00 pm Stocker Stadium
The Warriors also get the task of facing an undefeated team, and they also get them at home. Central knocked off a good Cheyenne Mountain team 40-0 last week and will be hoping to carry that momentum onto the field this week against another tough opponent.

Fruita Monument (7-0) vs Standley Lake (6-1)
4:00 pm
The Wildcats kept their record spotless last week with a 48-6 thumping of Thornton and face a stiff challenge this week. Another long bus ride will take them to  Westminster where they'll put their unbeaten record on the line.

Palisade (5-2) vs Battle Mountain (2-5)
The Bulldogs whipped up on Eagle Valley 35-0 last week. The Huskies have lost five in a row including a tough 21-14 loss last weekend at Glenwood Springs.

OTHER GAMES
Delta (3-4) vs Bayfield (7-0)
Coronado (3-4) vs Montrose (4-3)
Olathe (4-3) vs Hotchkiss (3-3)
Grand Valley (2-5) vs Cedaredge (2-5)
Plateau Valley (2-5) vs Hayden (4-3)
