Watching Gutsy Pair Make World’s Highest BASE Jump is Almost Heart-Stopping [VIDEO]

What most of us call crazy these guys call fun. A pair of BASE jumpers recently set a world record making a heart-stopping jump off the spire of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Soul Flyers world champions Vince Reffet and Fred Fugen say they BASE Jump because they like to fly and have fun. When asked if they were scared the reply was, "if you're scared, there is no fun." I guess that means no fear.

The two jumped from a platform that is over 2,700 feet high. To put it into proper perspective, that's over half-a-mile off the ground. Just standing on a platform that high would make me scared. I guess that means no fun, at least for me.
