Watch This Colorado Smokestack Come Crashing Down

There is something cool about watching things being destroyed - like this smokestack in northern Colorado.

The Great Western Sugar Factory in Brighton was the site of this recent demolition. Good thing somebody knew what they were doing or else this could have ended badly. If the smokestack falls in any other direction, somebody's insurance company is getting a call.

The men in this video look pretty confident about the outcome considering how close they were standing to the smokestack. They don't even flinch at the explosion or when the smokestack begins to topple over. I've got to tell you, if it was me, whatever the height of that smokestack is how far away from it I would be standing. That far -- and just a little bit more.
