Magician Jose Ahonen wondered if dogs would react to a simple magic tricks the same way humans do. In this magic experiment, Ahonen makes a dog treat disappear from his hand with some very amusing results.

To make the experiment work, Ahonen performed the trick without making the treat disappear. He gave each dog the treat in his hands.

He then repeated the trick, making the treats disappear and you see how the dogs react.

Before you decide it's cruel to do this to a poor animal, know that once the trick was performed and the dogs' reactions recorded, the dogs were rewarded with a treat for their participation.
