Four people are dead after a van rolled on I-70 in Utah near the Colorado border.

Early this morning a van filled with suspected undocumented immigrants rolled on I-70 in Utah killing four passengers, sending four other people to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction and leaving one passenger on the run.

According to the Salt Lake City Tribune, the van was traveling eastbound on I-70 around 4:30 am Friday (May 16) morning, when it drifted off the road around mile marker 198 on  in Utah and rolled.

All lanes of i-70 were shutdown - on lane reopened around 9:16 am - but it unknown when the highway will fully reopen.

Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the the crash  with federal immigration agents.
