Unusual ‘Panhandlers’ Give Money to Motorists Rather Than Beg for It

The old adage "it's better to give than receive" played out recently in Michigan when a couple decided to turn panhandling into handing out.

Imagine the surprise of motorists being approched by people wanting to give them money rather than beg for it. Talk about a unique way to pay it forward.

This also gives me a great idea. The next time I'm approached by a panhandler, I'm going to roll down the window and ask them to give me money which I will gladly donate, in my own way to pay it forward, to Grand Valley Catholic Outreach or the Homeward Bound Homeless Shelter.
