It appears spring is trying to ease into the Grand Valley, but that doesn't mean the ski season is over. On the contrary, 17 inches of new snow fell this morning at Powderhorn leaving ideal conditions for slope goers, of which there were reportedly few.

There is still about a month to go in the ski season and now seems to be the perfect time to head to the slopes. Temperatures are ideal and the conditions were described today as "champagne powder" by one skier after spending some time on the mountain today.

Another nice thing about hitting the slopes right now, especially during the week, the crowd isn't large. That means you can slide and glide in comfort and ease.
