This week's throwback is to 1967 for a radio made by Zenith, a well known household name when it came to electronics.

This radio found it's way from Oklahoma to Colorado when my grandmother moved to Grand Junction in the 90s. Not only is it an icon of the 1960s, but when my sister and I used to visit the farm in Oklahoma, we spent hours tuning across the AM band searching for as many stations we could find.

In following with Zenith's longtime slogan, 'the quality goes in before the name goes on' this Royal 76 radio still has great reception on both the AM and FM bands and the AFC switch really helps tuning in FM frequencies.
