The biggest, brightest full moon of the year shines in the sky this weekend. The Super-moon as it is known will happen on Sunday night when the moon rises. Does that mean there will be super werewolves? No, the werewolves will be the same.

Each year there is one day that the moon is the closest to Earth in its annual orbit. This time it’s special because it will happen on the full-moon. Some people have been a little crazy on the internet about high tides and earthquakes. Nothing like that is going to happen; unless the mother ship comes from behind the moon then all bets are off.

I would say if you have a good camera you might want to find a spot on the monument or an open field to take a few pictures. I bet you could get a nice shot of the moon coming over the mountains.
