If you're looking for a career that pays well, you need look no further than health care. Almost all of the top paying jobs in America all come from this field.

An article published in Forbes, reports seven of the ten best paying jobs are in the health care industry. The report also says of the top 10, eight require graduate degrees. The two that don't are Petroleum Engineer and Air Traffic Controller. In those two careers, especially Air Traffic Controller, high stress accompanies the high pay.

Careers in health care are an attractive choice because the continued growth in the top fields. All of those on the list are expected to have a minimum of 14% growth. On the opposite end is Air Traffic Controllers who's growth is expected to be no more than 1%.

While the pay is high for those in health care, the advanced degrees also come at a high price. The median college debt for a graduating physician is $175,00. Still, with an average annual salary of nearly $190,000, for many, it's worth the cost.
