The deed is done and the 16th annual 'Homeless for the Holidays' is in the books. This wasn't coldest or wettest year for the event, but once again Western Colorado came out in force to help stock up the Community Food Bank.

First, I would like to thank the Rim-Rock Walmart, Commercial Refuse Service and our friends at Budweiser for their great support of the event. They always help us out with no questions asked, so thank you very much.

Most of all, I want to thank all of you for the killer support you give us every year. We always go homeless with a goal of 9,510 pounds of food for the Food Bank and every time we do more than that due to your support.

This year was no different, as we were able to put just over 13,000 pounds of food in the Community Food Bank in 52 hours. That will feed many families over the holidays and it's all because of you, so thank you very much for that.

We'll see you for the 17th annual 'Homeless for the Holidays' in 2015.
