Every US state, or even areas within a state, have words that are uniquely theirs. Colorado is no exception. Watch what happens when a group of our radio friends in Texas try to pronounce words that are very 'Colorado'.

The thing about Colorado is we have a mixture of Spanish, Native American and a host of names that are either a hybrid of various languages or simply our own Colorado colloquialisms. So, even what may be the correct pronunciation elsewhere, doesn't always apply when describing a place in our state.

Turnabout being fair play, our friends in Texas are sending us a list of words from the Lone Star State to see how many we can get right. We'll share the video of our best attempt at being Texans soon.
