In Grand Junction, there are sports leagues aplenty, from baseball to football to basketball and even hockey, you can find a sports league to allow you to still live out your competitive dreams. And if those sports aren't your cup of tea, how about volleyball? Or even cornhole! Let's take a look at a few competitive leagues for adults in and around our town!

Grand Junction Men's Adult Baseball League

Admit it. You sit there watching JUCO or the Grand Junction Rockies and get that itch to play. But where? Here is your answer. This is an 18 plus wood bat baseball league, as opposed to softball or fast pitch softball. And these guys can play! Adult Ice Hockey Leagues at Glacier Ice Arena

For men and women who like a little "edge" to their sports, there's adult hockey! If you can skate, deke, shoot and score, this is your league! If you have a particular team you would like to play on you can request it, or just set caution to the wind and choose a random team. Either way, you will have a lot of fun.

Volley's Summer Leagues

You love to play beach volleyball, don't you? Any time there's a game you have to play!Teams of two or four compete in these leagues, played mostly at night. Get your friends together and challenge the valley for volleyball supremacy!

Grand Junction Gladiators

Serious football. These guys are good but like good teams, they are always looking for good players. If you want to strap it up and check it out, do it! This is a highly competitive league, and this team has won back to back league championships in 2012-2013 so bring your A game!

Grand Junction Cornhole Groups

Cornhole playing is growing by leaps and bounds and it's no surprise why. Playing cornhole is just plain fun. If you don't have the athletic prowess you once did, but still want to compete, try cornhole! There are always groups to join and events to enter to warm that arm up and get going!

Softball in Grand Junction

The Parks and Rec department have co-ed leagues and men's leagues so head over there and get signed up. Slo-pitch softball is fun, competitive and a great way to stay in shape and get together with old friends or make some new ones!

With a variety of leagues in the valley, come fall you can get your game on! Flag football is all the fun without the bumps and bruises! But don't think they don't come to play!

Billiards

Do you like to shoot pool? If you do, and you have some skill or no skill at all, why not try a billiards league? The players are usually quite helpful to new players and if you're a skilled billiards player, then come on out and compete with the best in the valley.
