Several Western Colorado communities were hit by heavy snowfall and are now getting ready for another round. Take a look at various roads around Western Colorado as we get ready for a few more days of snow.

As of 3:21 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Grand Junction area. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for areas around Steamboat Springs continuing through 6 p.m. on Thursday. The Steamboat Springs area should anticipate between three to seven inches of snow today, and another three to five inches later this evening.

Telluride has been issued a similar Winter Storm Warning running through 5 a.m. Friday, with expectations of two to four inches of snow this afternoon, another three to five inches tonight, and then three to seven inches on Thursday.

Glenwood Springs has also been issued a Winter Storm Warning, with four to eight inches of snow expected by tomorrow morning.

If you are traveling through Western Colorado anytime during the remainder of the week, please plan ahead. You'll need extra time, and more than likely, 4-wheel drive and/or chains.
