South Central Regional Tournament

For the second straight season, Colorado Mesa University’s women’s basketball team advances to the NCAA South Central Region semifinal with a 60-49 win over Midwestern State.

March Madness has already begun – at least for Division II schools in the NCAA.

The CMU women's basketball team were up against a formidable challenger in the South Central Regional Final, Monday (March 18), facing the Midwestern State University Mustangs. the Mavericks were down by eight at more than once during the first half but managed to tie the score 31-31 by halftime.

The CMU women's basketball team makes it two in a row in the South Central Regional Tournament by defeating the Texas Permian Basin Falcons 78-68 Saturday (March 16) at Brownson Arena.

The Colorado Mesa University women's basketball team scored big to beat Ft. Lewis College at a packed Brownson arena in the first round of the South Central Regional Tournament Friday (March15).
