The high school football season will officially kick off later this week, and Grand Junction High School will be the first Mesa County team to take the field.
The community of Palisade will host the inaugural back to school beach party this year. This is sure to be the last big party of the season, as school will start on August 4. That might bum many of you out but the beach party will be great fun for the whole family.

The number one ranked Bears came to Stocker Stadium to play the number two ranked Bulldogs in class 3A play Thursday night (October 4th) in the first of three nights of high school football for the Grand Valley teams.
