Manning makes about $18 million a year, which makes him the highest paid QB in the NFL. Manning is not the highest paid player in the league. The highest paid player in the NFL is Indianapolis Colt's Defensive End Dwight Freeney who makes just over $19 million each season. Freeney will be the highest paid player until Monday that is.
